This policy offers a combined total coverage of up to INR 1,570,000, ensuring a secure and worry-free expedition experience.

Coverage Breakdown

This insurance provides essential financial protection against unforeseen medical circumstances during your journey:

  • Hospitalization Expenses:Coverage up to INR 500,000 for medical treatment related to illness or injury.
  • Medical Evacuation:Coverage up to INR 500,000 for emergency medical transport to the nearest appropriate healthcare facility.
  • Personal Accident:Financial protection up to INR 500,000 in the event of an accidental injury.
  • Outpatient Treatment:Coverage up to INR 15,000 for consultations, diagnostic tests, and prescribed medications.
  • Hospitalization Allowance:A daily stipend of INR 500 (up to a 5-day limit) during hospitalization.

Policy Terms and Conditions

Eligibility & Scope

This policy is exclusively available to Indian nationals and applies solely to the designated "Base-to-Base" expedition route. It does not extend to home-to-home travel, air transit, or overnight journeys outside the specified scope.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, unrelated illnesses, and incidents involving the consumption of alcohol or narcotics are excluded from coverage. Flight-related contingencies (delays, cancellations, lost baggage) are also strictly not covered.

Claims Procedure

  • Reporting: All incidents must be reported within 7 days.
  • Submission: Claims must be filed within 30 days of the incident.
  • Documentation: Submission of original documents—including medical reports, prescriptions, and itemized bills—is mandatory for processing.
  • Processing Time: Standard claim processing takes approximately 30 days post-submission.

Medical Requirements

In an emergency, participants must seek immediate medical attention from a registered doctor or hospital to maintain their claim eligibility.
